The Chocolate Dropper Cake with Italian Peaches

This chocolate cake is all you need to put a smile on someone’s face. I always say the people with birthdays in the month of February are the lucky ones. What better time to celebrate your birthday than in the month of love. It’s a great opportunity get your loved ones to spoil you. Even when it’s not our birthday, we all need a cake like this one.

Showing someone you care never gets old, before and even after valentine’s day.

I call this the ‘Chocolate Dropper’ cake and it might or might not have been inspired by a video I watched of Kevin Hart talking about Valentines day.

The cake itself is dreamy with decadent layers of buttercream and topped with some of my favorite Italian confectionaries.

The Italian red peaches immediately caught my eyes as I walked past the confectionery isle and so did the milk chocolate cigars. I already had the intentions of getting the biscuits, but those little treats made the picture in my head clearer.

In case you were wondering, the ‘red peaches’ are little cakes similar to cake pops or the american whoopie pies but are even more delicious, The stick chocolate you see in the pictures are what I am referring to as chocolate cigars. It was a pack of three in a box just like an actual cigar (like in the movies).

You can top your cake with whatever sweets you like.

Here’s the recipe:
